Community Service

This course is designed to reinforce academic/vocational integrated learning and human relations skills while providing service in the community, with:
emphasis placed on learning opportunities through involvement with community service organizations;
students engaged in meaningful experiences that provide a focus on problem solving/critical thinking, teamwork, personal management, and life skills.

As part of the El Pomar Youth in Community Service, students must raise $500 to qualify for funds matched at a ratio of 15:1 ($7,500) by the El Pomar Foundation.   The 1999/2000 Mission Statement is highlighted in our News section.
