The years come and go, and so it is with our student body.  Good byes are often hard however so we decided to archive some of our philosophy statements presented by members of the Class of 1999.

Luz Lara:  (Outstanding Student of the Year) I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed. -Booker T. Washington

Sherita Green:  Shoot for the moon.  Even if you miss, you'll be amongst the stars.  -Walt Disney
Crystal King:  The mind is everything, what you think, you become. -Buddha

Jennifer McGrew:  Please know that I am quite aware of the hazards.  Women must try to do things as men have tried.  When they fail, their failure must be but a challenge to others. -Amelia Earhart
Estevan Montoya: Were it offered to my choice, I should have no objection to a petition of the same life from its beginning, only asking the advantages authors have in a second edition, to correct some faults in the first. –Benjamin Franklin
